Wireless Infrastructure Group has acquired a freehold telecoms tower portfolio from Avon & Somerset Police Authority. The transaction involves 7 towers located in 4 elevated locations in South West England.
The towers have average heights of 43 metres and offer significant opportunities for new sharers.
April 2008 – Peel Group
Wireless Infrastructure Group has entered into an agreement with Peel group to acquire its telecom towers. The transaction involves approximately 50 tower sites and WIG and Peel will work together to develop further sites across Peel's extensive land and property interests.

September 2007 – Scottish Water
Wireless Infrastructure Group has entered into an agreement with Scottish Water to acquire its telecoms towers and telecom income rights. The transaction includes over 50 active sites and also covers the exclusive rights to market and manage Scottish water’s estate for wireless. WIG and Scottish Water will work together to develop further sites from Scottish Water’s estate of over 8,000 urban and suburban locations across Scotland

August 2007 – Devon & Cornwall Police Authority
Wireless Infrastructure Group has acquired a freehold telecoms mast portfolio from Devon & Cornwall Police Authority. The transaction involves 9 towers located in pivotal locations in South West England. The towers have average heights of 40 metres and offer significant opportunities for new sharers. Wireless Infrastructure Group were one of a number of bidders but were able to execute due diligence quickly and complete the deal in line with final offer.
August 2007 – Scottish and Southern Energy Telecoms
Wireless Infrastructure Group has completed the acquisition of over 220 tower sites from Scottish and Southern Electricity (SSE). The towers are well invested assets in strategic locations across Scotland and Central Southern England. The sites are used by a range of customers and have significant capacity for new sharers. The total consideration of £79 million includes an agreement to develop new sites. As part of the transaction SSE has entered into along term contract with WIG to manage its extensive PMR site provision.
